Designing Your Site

As you decide which links to display and where to display them, you should keep a few facts in mind.

Context: Links displayed in context are the most effective. If your web site's theme is Insurance or Financial Services related, take advantage of the context and feature Insurance or Financial Services related creative. If your web site's theme is Health or Non-Profit related, take advantage of the context and feature Health or Non-Profit related creative.

Dynamic Display: The more you rotate your links, the more applications for Health Insurance you'll drive. Plan to search for new text links, buttons, and ad banners frequently, and change the links you display on a regular rotational schedule. Several times a year, change the style of the links. Finally, ask for feedback from your audience, and see what types of offers appeal to them most.

Display the eHealthInsurance Links

The first step is to add links to your site. You do this by having the Link Generator create links to these items for you. You can link to specific products types or, to special promotions, product categories, and other special areas of eHealthInsurance.com. To create a link:

1. Go to the Creating Affiliate Links section of the Link Generator.

2. Select the link you wish to list.

3. Click the "Make My Code" button to create the link.

4. Copy the HTML in its entirety and paste it into your web page code where you wish to display the link.

5. Repeat the process for each product you wish to display. YOU MAY DISPLAY AS MANY PRODUCTS AS YOU WISH.

Creating Affiliate Links

Display eHealthinsurancee Advertisements

The next step is to add advertisements to your site, if you wish to do so. You do this by having the Link Generator create links for you. To create a link:

1. Go to the Creating Ad Banner Links section of the Link Generator.

2. Select a location for your site link from the location dropdown menu.

(There could be only one location defined. In this case you will skip step 2.)

3. Select the size of the advertisement you wish to display with this link.

4. Click the "Make My Code" button to create the link.

5. Copy the HTML in its entirety and paste it into your web page code where you wish to display the link.

6. Repeat the process for each advertisement you wish to display.

Maximizing Revenues

Reporting.net offers a number of decision-support reports that can help you analyze how well you are driving applications through eHealthInusurance. These reports allow you to look at specific indicators of sales-performance. For example, if the last three items on the "Top Ten" report have a lower impression/ship ratio than the other seven, you should look for replacements.
